Twin Cities Chef Gavin Kaysen on Volunteering at Second Harvest Heartland

Spoon and Stable Owner and Executive Chef Gavin Kaysen recently visited the Second Harvest Heartland volunteer center with his son's hockey team for a two-hour packing shift. "To me, what makes Second Harvest so important is the meaning behind it and the transparency," said Gavin. "When you give back and see direct results that are transparent, it makes it easier to volunteer and give because you know what the giving is for."
