As an Event Reset & Load-Out Volunteer at Dish, Second Harvest Heartland’s premier gala, you’ll help bring our mission to life by keeping the evening running smoothly from dinner through final load-out. Your attention to detail, flexibility, and team spirit will help reset event spaces, pack up important materials, and close out the night with care. This is a great opportunity to roll up your sleeves, work alongside passionate people, and be part of something bigger than yourself.
Every task you complete helps set the stage for an evening that fuels hope and action in the fight to end hunger.
What You’ll Do:
Support the reset and pack up of key event elements, including:
- Moving event elements from one space to another
- Tear down and pack up of spaces
- Loading necessary items
What You’ll Gain:
- A hands-on role in creating a meaningful and mission-driven event
- Training and guidance provided at the start of your shift

- Invitation to an optional pre-event overview session on Tuesday, September 29 from 10:00-11:30am
